Der Untertitel dieser mittlerweile vergriffenen Dokumentation lautet "Impressions Of Death - Black Metal", und genau die bekommt man in dem von Matt Valn (produzierte u.a. Mitte der Neunziger einige Underground- Musikvideos, z.B. für Obscenlty) konzipierten Streifen auch zu sehen. Eine Aneinanderreihung von Interview-Sequenzen mit Fans, Musikern und Gegnern des Genres, sowie Musikbeispielen (Videoclips und Konzertausschnitte) gibt einem schlaglichtartigen Einblick in die damalige Szene und setzt seinen Schwerpunkt beim Thema Satanismus. Der Film ist um Objektivität bemüht und stellt konträre Aussagen und Bilder unkommentiert nebeneinander. So kommen viele Musiker (u.a. von Death, Atrocity, Immortal, Morbid Angel, Sepultura und Impaled Nazarene) und Szene-Persönlichkeiten zu Wort, darunter auch ein seinen heiß geliebten Death Metal souverän verteidigender Frank Albrecht. Aber auch Statements der anderen Seite - besorgte Eltern eines Metallers und "normales" Diskotheken-Publikum - werden wiedergegeben. Unfreiwillig komisches Highlight: ein kultig-peinlicher Auftritt von Deicide-Fronter Glen Benton.
